This application involves a document scanner and a web application. A standard document with checkboxes will be scanned into the scanner and a PDF image will be put in a MySQL database along with some data fields.
The scanned image with some of the checkboxes marked will be compared against a blank copy of the same document with no checkboxes filled in. Based upon the checkmarks identified, a field in the database will be turned on.
