We are willing to develop an e-book reader on iPhone similar to Amazon’s Kindle , Barnes & Nobles eReader, or Stanza (please review their free iPhone apps for reference), but with only one book.
Here is a summary of the features we expect:
- 1 e-book is preinstalled in the app in HTML format.
- user can read page by page or with automatic scrolling (see eReader app). Content needs to be properly paginated depending on the size of text (this is probably the hardest part).
- user can bookmark pages
- last page read is automatically saved when quitting the app. When opening the app, last page read is shown
- user can browse table of contents
- user can click on internal or external links (in this case, open Safari)
- user can select text, and send the selection by mail
- user can select preferences: size of text, background (please provide a choice of 4 backgrounds).
